Contract | Nights | 7 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule | 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday nights) | 16-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EPIC order verification as part of nightly pharmacy operations
- Conduct BD Pyxis maintenance and BD carousel operations
- Perform sterile IV compounding; possible hazardous IV sterile compounding responsibilities
- Work holidays that fall within a scheduled week of nights
- Operate within a no-float assignment, remaining in the designated pharmacy unit
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- PA Fingerprints required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hazardous IV sterile compounding
- Familiarity with BD Pyxis and BD carousel systems in a hospital or acute care setting
