    Travel Overnight Pharmacist / Staff Pharmacist

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Nights | 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off | 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Wednesday through Tuesday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and designated hospital areas in compliance with state, federal, and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital policies
    • Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing; provide medication education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians
    • Perform sterile compounding, including IV admixture preparation and nutritional supplement mixing
    • Maintain narcotic accountability and support medication safety initiatives
    • Monitor patient profiles, identify and report adverse drug reactions, and support avoidance strategies
    • Work independently in a fast-paced inpatient acute care environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona Pharmacist License
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient acute hospital pharmacist experience
    • Sterile compounding experience
    • Ability to work independently without on-call or blocked scheduling requirements
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Board Certification in pharmacy
    • Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program
    • Experience in a high-volume inpatient setting with ED support (44+ beds)
