    Job Title

    Travel: Pharmacist – Acute Care Pharmacy (Days)

    Springfield, Missouri

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Thursday through Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7 on / 7 off schedule); 36 hours weekly guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Use EPIC Dispense Prep to verify and check medications, kits, crash carts, prepacked items, and other pharmacy products as needed
    • Oversee and coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy, serving as the primary pharmacist for central pharmacy operations
    • Check medication products including IVs, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens for accuracy and compliance
    • Verify that code carts have been restocked correctly following use
    • Oversee surrounding pharmacy technicians and redirect them to pertinent tasks as needed to maintain efficient workflow
    • Float to other areas of the pharmacy as required by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Pharmacist Licensure
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; new graduates will be considered
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR, specifically Dispense Prep functionality
    • Flu vaccination or an approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an acute care or central pharmacy setting
    • Familiarity with overseeing pharmacy technician workflow in a high-volume environment
