    Travel Pharmacist – Acute Care Pharmacy (Evenings)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Onsite | Evening Shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM) | 7 on / 7 off (Thursday–Wednesday) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary pharmacist overseeing central pharmacy operations during the evening shift, coordinating workflow among surrounding pharmacy technicians
    • Verify and check medication products using EPIC Dispense Prep, including IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, and other preparations as needed
    • Inspect and verify that code carts and crash carts have been properly restocked
    • Check kits, prepacked items, and other pharmacy supplies as required
    • Redirect technicians to pertinent tasks as needed to maintain efficient central pharmacy workflow
    • Adhere to weekend and call requirements as determined by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Pharmacist Licensure
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience; new graduates will be considered
    • Proficiency with EPIC (EMR/dispense prep)
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required seasonally (November 1 – April 1)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an acute care or hospital central pharmacy setting
    • Familiarity with product verification workflows including IV preparation and code cart checks
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of multiple pharmacists and technicians
