Contract | 13 Weeks | On-Site | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Use EPIC Dispense Prep to verify and check medications, including IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, and other pharmacy products as needed
• Verify and check kits, crash carts, prepacked items, and confirm code carts have been restocked correctly
• Coordinate and oversee workflow within the central pharmacy, serving as the primary pharmacist for central pharmacy operations
• Oversee surrounding pharmacy technicians and redirect them to pertinent tasks as needed; this role does not include supervisory or disciplinary authority over other individuals
• Float as required by the facility
• Adhere to facility call and weekend requirements as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of experience; new graduates will be considered
• Flu vaccination or an approved exemption is required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
• Must be available to work on-site 100% of the time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR, particularly EPIC Dispense Prep
• Experience in a central pharmacy or acute care hospital pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with IV preparation, product verification workflows, and code cart checks
