Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services within a hospital pharmacy department supporting a large acute care facility
- Utilize Meditech documentation system for accurate medication order entry and review
- Operate and manage automated dispensing systems including Pyxis ES and DoseEdge
- Support pharmacy operations across departments with exposure to Trauma, Stroke, and Surgical Services
- Ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum of 2–3 years of previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
- Experience with Pyxis ES automated dispensing and DoseEdge workflow systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 to 5 years of hospital pharmacist experience
- Familiarity with Trauma, Stroke, or Surgical Services pharmacy support
- Experience in a high-volume acute care hospital setting
