Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with applicable regulations
• Review and verify medication orders for safety, appropriateness, and accuracy
• Counsel patients and healthcare staff on proper medication use, dosage, and potential interactions
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support optimal patient medication outcomes
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of New York (or eligible for licensure)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital, health system, or institutional pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy management and dispensing software systems
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills
