Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services supporting all inpatient operations including ER, ICU, infusion center, and oncology center
• Perform compounding, order entry, and order verification
• Manage medication dispensing using Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets stocked for floor use
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Participate in an on-call rotation of 7 nights every 3 weeks
• Adhere to a set schedule including every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday coverage as it falls within the rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance License — Required
• Demonstrated inpatient pharmacy competency
• Experience with compounding, order entry, and order verification in an inpatient setting
• Proficiency with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
• Must be capable of completing orientation within 1–2 weeks
• Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Paragon pharmacy information system
• Background supporting multi-specialty inpatient environments including oncology and infusion services
