Key Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders across multiple care areas including ER, ICU, Inpatient, Surgery, and Birth Center
- Respond to code blue pages as needed
- Answer provider questions regarding medications and clinical pharmacy matters
- Check medication picks in coordination with pharmacy technician support
- Utilize Cerner medication dispensing system for order management and documentation
- Clock in and out at the facility for all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License required
- Ability to work a mid shift schedule (14:00–00:00) on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
- Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a multi-department hospital setting (ER, ICU, surgical, or obstetric environments)
- Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
