Key Responsibilities
Dispense and verify inpatient medication orders in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
Perform medication reconciliation and review patient profiles for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
Provide clinical consultation and drug information to healthcare team members as needed
Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
Experience working in an inpatient or hospital pharmacy setting
Strong knowledge of medication safety standards and pharmacy best practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with inpatient pharmacy management systems and electronic health records (EHR)
Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCCP, or similar)
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and inpatient regulatory requirements
