Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (shifts will not extend past 9:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services within a hospital setting
- Float within the hospital as needed across various pharmacy areas
- Utilize EPIC EMR to manage and document patient medication orders
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Active North Carolina Pharmacy License required (license must be at least pending with a clearly stated ETA)
- Recent experience with EPIC EMR
- Current BLS certification (must be issued through the American Heart Association)
- Candidates must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license required for address verification prior to any offer acceptance
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current ACLS and/or PALS certifications (must be issued through the American Heart Association)
- Prior experience in an inpatient or acute care hospital pharmacy environment
- Experience floating across multiple pharmacy departments or units
