INPATIENT PHARMACIST
We are looking for experienced Inpatient Pharmacists to support the U.S. Army at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The Inpatient Pharmacist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care to inpatient patients. The role includes reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications, performing pharmaceutical calculations, preparing intravenous admixtures and complex parenteral nutrition solutions, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures and safety protocols.
Schedule: Typically 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7 days on / 7 days off, with rotating day and night shifts. Some on-call and overtime may be required.
Salary: Up to $71.00 per hour on W2.
Contract Duration: Five (5) years.
Work Location: Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
