Shifts: Varying shifts - could be 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7pm, and/or 3:00pm-11pm
Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role focuses on providing essential pharmaceutical services with compassion and excellence within a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist- Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician requests and established protocols
- Maintain accurate patient drug records and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Manage controlled substances and ensure efficient services
- Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify pharmacy technicians' activities
- Provide ambulatory care services, manage drug therapy, and provide patient education
- Monitor drug therapy regimens and provide clinical consultation
- Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities
Requirements of the Pharmacist- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (preferred) or BS Pharmacy degree (accepted)
- Must have state licensure (LA license required)
- Hospital experience preferred
- BLS or ACLS certification via AHA
