Pharmacist | Roles & Responsibilities
- Verify and accurately dispense medication orders.
- Review medication profiles and monitor patient drug therapy for safety and effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve medication-related issues, including drug interactions and adverse reactions.
- Provide clinical drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications as needed.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Required Documents / Certifications
- Active California Pharmacist License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Hospital/Inpatient Pharmacist experience
- Sterile compounding experience (preferred)
- Pharmacy Residency and/or BCPS (preferred)
- Oncology infusion experience (preferred)
