Care Career is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Springfield, Missouri.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty: Pharmacist
  • Discipline: Allied Health Professional
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

Required Qualifications

License

  • Active Missouri Pharmacist License required

Certification

  • BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) only

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
  • New graduates may be considered

Required Skills and Responsibilities

  • Perform acute care pharmacy duties in a hospital setting
  • Use EPIC Dispense Prep for medication verification
  • Verify:
    • IV medications
    • Premade IVs
    • Creams
    • Insulin pens
    • Medication kits
    • Crash carts
    • Prepackaged medications
  • Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy
  • Ensure medication accuracy and safety
  • Review and verify medication products
  • Check crash cart restocking accuracy
  • Support pharmacy technician workflow

EMR System

  • EPIC experience required
