Travel Pharmacist - $3,200 to $3,400 per week in Morristown, NJ

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Patient Profiling & Medication Orders: Review patient profiles, medical histories, allergies, lab results, and medication orders to ensure safe and appropriate therapy. Verify medication, dosage, route, and frequency, and recommend alternatives when needed.

• Medication Dispensing: Accurately and promptly dispense medications and prescriptions. Process requests through phone, fax, computer, and service windows while ensuring timely patient care.

• Medication Checking: Verify unit-dose medications, IV preparations, automated dispensing machines, floor stock, emergency kits, and other medication supplies for accuracy.

• Sterile Compounding: Prepare and supervise sterile IV medications, including chemotherapy agents. Maintain aseptic techniques, follow hazardous drug safety procedures, and ensure proper handling of IV medications and total parenteral nutrition (TPN).

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and follow all medication safety and pharmacy procedures.
