Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) position located within a healthcare facility. This role involves working in a hospital pharmacy environment with a focus on inpatient medication management. The position supports a decentralized pharmacist model and requires providing comprehensive pharmacy services, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication dispensing, and supporting the clinical team. The assignment offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology in a dynamic hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, working days and evenings, with weekends required. This position will work 40 hours per week, with a combination of day and evening shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Current/active Missouri (MO) license in good standing; minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient pharmacy; education as a licensed pharmacist.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Pyxis ES, Meditech, Dose Edge systems; experience with IV sterile compounding, medication packaging, and hospital pharmacy procedures.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include refilling Pyxis machines, filling first doses, medication compounding (sterile and non-sterile), answering phone calls, assisting pharmacists, refilling code blue trays. The unit is staffed with five technicians on day shift, one mid shift, two evening shifts, and two overnight shifts, although overnight shifts are not part of this assignment. The position is located in a hospital unit with 285 beds and requires working some weekend shifts.
