Description

American Traveler is hiring a Perinatal RN Manager with at least 3 years of perinatal nursing experience and NRP, FHM, and STABLE certifications for a 13-week leadership assignment.

Details

  • Perinatal unit setting focused on labor and delivery and obstetric nursing
  • 5 x 8-hour shift schedule
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active or compact RN license valid in Colorado required prior to start
  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
  • BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider) certification required
  • AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification required
  • STABLE Program Learner certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Perinatal RN required
  • 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Additional Information

  • Oversee perinatal nursing operations and staff in a leadership capacity
  • Must be able to safely function in a low oxygen, high elevation environment (approximately 8,000 ft)
  • No RTO (requested time off) accommodated during this assignment
  • Travelers are responsible for arranging their own housing, with higher costs common in the surrounding mountain communities
