Travel Peds CVOR RN – Pediatric Open Heart | Level I Trauma | 40 Hrs | Mesa, AZ

This is not a general OR assignment.

We’re looking for a Pediatric CVOR RN who already knows what it takes to work complex pediatric cardiac cases — and can bring that same confidence across Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, and Trauma.

For the right CVOR nurse, this is an opportunity to put some serious clinical depth on a travel resume.

The Assignment

• Mesa, AZ

• 13-week contract

• 40 hours/week

• Day shift: approximately 6:40 AM – 5:10 PM

• Pediatric CVOR environment

• Exposure to Level I Trauma

• Weekends, holidays, call and floating per department guidelines

The Experience That Matters

• Pediatric Open-Heart experience – required

• Strong Pediatric Cardiac surgical experience

• Pediatric Neuro

• Pediatric Ortho

• Pediatric General Surgery

• Level I Trauma experience

• Must be comfortable with call and floating

• Travelers must reside 50+ miles from the facility

The bottom line: this role is built for a CVOR nurse with a genuinely specialized pediatric surgical background — not someone looking to learn Pediatric Open Heart on assignment.
