Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.

Details

Children's Hospital setting within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Pediatrics unit with patient ratios of 1:3-5
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
Floating required between units
On-call required based on unit census
Weekend requirement of 5 shifts within a 6-week period
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
2 years of RN experience required
Pediatric experience preferred
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in a trauma center environment
Scrub color requirement: Navy for RNs
Free parking available in unrestricted spaces with bike racks on-site
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
