Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Requirements: Must have PICU experience and must have level 1 experience.
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN ICU - Pediatrics provides nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, assisting physicians in examinations and procedures, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. The RN also delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs.
Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS (American Heart Association)
