Shift: Monday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Specialist (RVT) to join its Pediatric Imaging team. This position primarily performs pediatric ultrasound examinations, with only a small number of basic OB/pregnancy scans.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols.
Verify patient identity, physician orders, and patient history.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate documentation in RIS/PACS and EMR.
Ensure equipment quality control and maintain exam room readiness.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
Requirements:
Recent Pediatric Ultrasound experience is REQUIRED.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Radiology Program.
Current BLS (AHA) certification.
RVT certification
Must have one of the following:
RDMS (Abdomen)
RDMS (OB/GYN)
RDMS (Pediatric Sonography)
ARRT (Sonography)
Preferred
Children's hospital or pediatric imaging experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
