The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):PEDS and Oncology
Number of Beds – 19 total (13 pediatric beds with 6 oncology beds)
Number of Staff – 22 total ( 10 peds and 12 oncology)
Type of staff: always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day.
Day Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs, 1 PCT
Night Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs, 1 PCT
Patient Ratios – 1:3, 1:4, 1:5
Type of equipment - Alaris pumps
EMR - Cerner
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Pediatric experience in hospital
Pediatric Oncology
Active RN license
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Best personality Fit:
Detail oriented and organized
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
PALS, BLS and for oncology need APHON
Floating Area(s):
PICU, NICU
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire – all navy blue or white top
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Weekends and On call (if any)
6 weekend shifts with 2 being Saturdays
