Job Details

  • Position: Respiratory Therapist Pediatrics at the organizations healthcare facility.
  • Certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Education & Licenses: Virginia license in hand, RT-VA license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years pediatric experience, with specific experience in NICU and PICU settings, including vented patient care.
  • Work Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Rotation includes every other weekend and holidays.
  • Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care, with a call requirement to be discussed during the interview.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work in areas such as ED, NICU, PICU, and pediatric general care, with VA license in hand.
  • Credentialing: Documents required approximately a week and a half prior to the start date.
  • Contract Details: MSP (Medicare Secondary Payer) required.
