Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric (PEDS) care is sought for a healthcare facility located in an urban setting. This position involves providing advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and other critical care settings. The role requires proficiency in managing ventilators, Bipaps, High Flow units, and participating in bedside procedures, supporting a cohesive and experienced team.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights from 12:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must have Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP, Level 3-unit NICU skills, and acute care experience in Med Surg, Emergency Room, and ICU settings. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and be proficient in managing ventilators, Bipaps, and High Flow units, along with bedside procedures such as intubations and bedside bronchoscopies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional skills in managing advanced equipment and working independently in high-acuity environments will be prioritized.
