Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Pediatrics – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM). No weekends, no call required. Contract duration of 13-26 weeks available.

Highlights:

• Outpatient pediatric physical therapy in a hospital-based clinic setting
• Treat 7-8 patients per day with common diagnoses including developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries
• Work independently in a small, full-service outpatient clinic offering comprehensive rehabilitation services
• Opportunity for flexible scheduling with any 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
• Free parking provided at the 212-bed acute care facility
• Epic charting system used for documentation

Requirements:

• Active California Physical Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient clinic or home health experience with pediatric population strongly preferred
• Must be proficient and independent with pediatric assessments (PDMS-2 commonly used)
• Experience with adaptive equipment, milestone assessment, and patient/family education
• Acute care experience preferred as therapists may float to inpatient hospital when outpatient census is low
• First-time travelers accepted
