Job Summary
Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient, Pediatrics, and the surrounding area. This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to pediatric patients, primarily focusing on developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, orthopedic injuries, and other pediatric conditions. The role requires working independently within a full-service outpatient clinic environment, adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

- Location Requirements & Years of Experience: Outpatient pediatrics, 1 year of experience required.
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Qualifications: Must be proficient and independent in outpatient services, particularly medical-based pediatric physical therapy. Experience with assessments such as PDMS-2 is preferred.
- Responsibilities: Providing outpatient physical therapy for pediatric patients, including evaluation, development of plans of care, discharge planning, and patient family education. The role may involve occasional floating into acute care settings if outpatient census is low.
- Specific Skills: Acute care, adaptive equipment, assessment, pediatrics, evaluation, and use of specific pediatric assessment tools.
- Submission Requirements: Must include response to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility, with location and dates. References: two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years.
