Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for a Pediatric Operating Room position requiring prior pediatric OR experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work as an RN Circulator in the Pediatric Operating Room at a children's hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• On-call responsibilities required as part of a late call team
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius, though cross-campus floating is rare

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state, or a compact RN license in compliance with NLC guidelines (TN or compact license required)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience with prior travel assignment experience, or 3 years of OR experience without travel history
• Pediatric OR experience required
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers not accepted
• BSN required for this position
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Vaccination status must be disclosed for consideration

Additional Information

• Serve as RN Circulator supporting pediatric surgical cases in the operating room
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not considered
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
• If only 2 of these holidays fall within the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2
• Former permanent staff or travelers previously employed at the facility must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO requested after an offer will not be honored
