Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Pediatric OR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for pediatric surgical patients in a multidisciplinary OR setting.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols while ensuring comprehensive patient assessments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in circulating and scrubbing duties across various pediatric surgical specialties.
• Coordinate with surgical teams, anticipate needs, and respond effectively to changing clinical situations.
• Document patient data accurately within the Epic charting system to ensure quality care.
• Maintain readiness to float to other UCSF facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California and BLS/PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Pediatric OR or comparable surgical nursing environment.
• Experience with Epic charting system and in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• BSN is mandatory, CNOR certification is preferred.
• Previous charge nurse and teaching hospital experience preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccine compliance with booster, medical/religious exemptions only.
