Job Summary:
The Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) specialty position is based at a healthcare facility in Colorado Springs. This role involves supporting pediatric surgical procedures within the operating room setting, with a focus on general, urology, orthopedic, ENT, spine, neuro, and endoscopy specialties. The assignment is scheduled for 12 weeks, starting on October 6, 2026, and ending on January 9, 2027.
Job Details:
- Location: Colorado Springs
- Position: Surgical Technician (Surgical Tech)
- Schedule: 10-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 5:45 PM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Pediatric experience, certifications including Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and DORA (Colorado), with a minimum of 1 year of experience, and healthcare provider licensure for Colorado.
- Required Specialties: General, Urology, Orthopedic, ENT, Spine, Neuro, Endoscopy
- Travel: Travel is required for this assignment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, but float is not mandatory for this position.
- Weekend Requirement: PRN coverage as needed.
- On-Call Requirements: 3-6 shifts per month.
- Travel Experience: REQUIRED
- Additional Information: Client reserves the right to reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence within a thirty-five (35) mile radius of their original assignment location. No RTO (Request for Time Off) is allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions for flu vaccination are permitted.
