Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Nursing position in Oakland. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for pediatric patients across various surgical specialties. The nurse will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures in a fast-paced, pediatric-focused environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric Operating Room Nurse responsible for delivering perioperative nursing care to pediatric surgical patients, assisting with various procedures, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), CNOR (Perioperative Nurse Certification), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). CA RN License and BSN required.
- Experience: Minimum of 0 years, with preference for candidates with strong pediatric general operating room experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with some weekends, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Ability to float to other UCSF campuses and units as needed. Previous charge nurse experience and patient ratio experience are preferred. Knowledge of Epic charting system required.
