Occupational Therapist Pediatrics located in a critical access facility. This outpatient role involves providing development therapy and sensory integration services to pediatric patients, including adolescents, infants, and children with developmental delays, sensory issues, and autism.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS, NBCOT; 3 years of experience; active Illinois license; experience with pediatric outpatient therapy, sensory integration, development delays, autism, and related assessments.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience, with 1 year of charting system experience in Cerner. The role involves a daily census of approximately 7 patient visits, with therapy focused on sensory, developmental, and neurodiversity concerns. The environment is sensory-friendly and accommodating, with specialized gyms and equipment. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, interpretation services, and social services. All candidates must be pre-closed at the time of submission, with completed compliance requirements, including Illinois licensure and background checks. Floating within scope may be required, and orientation includes virtual onboarding with module completion.
