Pediatric Medical Floor RN in a medical pulmonary specialty setting, located at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-acuity pediatric care, including management of ventilated, trached, and chest tube patients, within a hospital environment.

Job Details

  • Position Title: Medical Surgical RN Traveler
  • Specialty: Pediatric Medical Floor (PEDS MEDICAL)
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 14 weeks, from 11/03/2026 to 02/06/2027
  • Schedule: Nights with every other weekend work required
  • Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS and PALS certifications, minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience, minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience, BSN preferred, pediatric pulmonary experience, experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, chest tube management, and high-acuity patient care.
  • Experience: Previous travel experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Floating: Float rotation within the cohort as per hospital policy; float within the Denver Metro area up to 35 miles from the original assignment location.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations and managing high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients. Pulmonary and ventilator management experience will be discussed during the interview.
