Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• Previous charge RN experience preferred, with willingness to charge when needed
• Active Registered Nurse license preferred at time of submission
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Strong experience with tracheostomy care, dialysis, or EVD preferred
• Must be comfortable working with complex pediatric and post-op patients
• References required
• Must be able to meet travel compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to pediatric patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and support patients requiring ventilators, tracheostomy care, dialysis, and neurological care
• Deliver safe, efficient nursing care in a pediatric intermediate care setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities on select shifts as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the charting system
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellent patient outcomes
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate locations as needed
