Job Details
- Position: RN - Pediatric Oncology/Hematology
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Arizona RN license or valid multistate privilege license, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, APHON certification, and 1 year of nursing experience. Education requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN), or a Diploma Nursing degree.
- Additional Details:
- Experience in pediatric chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant (BMT) preferred.
- Recent pediatric hematology/oncology experience or experience in childrens hospital settings is advantageous.
- RTO (reasons to observe time off) discussed during interview and pre-approved.
- No float rotation required.
- Vaccination requirements include seasonal flu vaccination; COVID-19 vaccination recommended but not mandatory.
- Position involves working in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patient health according to evidence-based standards and hospital protocols.
- This assignment may involve floating between four campuses located in Phoenix and surrounding areas.
