Job Summary:
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) nurse in a day shift position. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, compassionate care across all stages of treatment and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification. Experience in the clinical area for which the position is being applied is desired. Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred. Professional certification in pediatric emergency nursing or related area is preferred.
• Additional Information: This position requires physical agility to respond quickly to patient needs, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. It involves direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare team members, and documentation in patient records.
