Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, totaling a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from a registered nursing program, Bachelor's degree preferred; completion of a Nurse Residency Program; six to twelve months of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting; RN licensure in good standing in Texas or a compact state; American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • Responsibilities: Provides general nursing care according to the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, including patient assessments, medication administration, education, and documentation. Addresses patient safety and follows clinical policies, leveraging critical thinking to meet individual patient needs. Assists in following clinical procedures, maintaining documentation, and managing patient flow. Ensures safety standards and participates in quality improvement activities. Educates patients about home medical equipment and processes medical orders accurately.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record systems and insurance authorization processes.
