Job Summary:
Under general to limited supervision and direction, this intermediate-level position is responsible for delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations. The role involves aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects, and/or diseases. The position requires independent clinical and non-clinical duty assignments and the ability to perform essential duties with professionalism and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department.
- Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
- Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
- Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.

Required Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic specialty as defined by the ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- One of the following Cardiovascular or Radiologic certifications through ARRT, CCI, or ARDMS:
- ARDMS: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- CCI: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- ARRT: Radiography (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CI), Sonography (S), Vascular Sonography (VS)
