Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient PCU experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a 34-bed Telemetry/PCU unit with a 4-5:1 patient ratio
  • Patient population includes pulmonary and sickle cell diagnoses
  • Medication administration includes antibiotics, heparin, and pain management
  • Clinical skills required include IV management, PCA, CPAP, feeding tubes, wound vac care, dialysis fistula care, cardioversion, and EKGs
  • Night shift schedule from 6:45pm-7:15am, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
  • Every other weekend required per unit need
  • Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
  • Tele or titration experience not required
