Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours/week | 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care in a PCU/Telemetry step-down setting
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and demonstrate familiarity with procedures such as TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; perform patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse scope of practice
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Float between multiple facilities as part of a float pool assignment, adapting to varying unit needs and patient populations
• Document all care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license (or compact license eligible for Arizona)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Telemetry, or Step-Down nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must be willing and able to float between multiple facilities within the assigned network

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with cardiac drip management and familiarity with TAVR and Watchman mitral clip procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool environment
