Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU/Surgical Stepdown position requiring stroke/PCU experience and RQI certification.

Details

• Work in a MultiSys PCU (Progressive Care Unit) setting
• 6-week assignment with 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 days (7a-7p) and 3 nights (7p-7a)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Unit standard floating requirements
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• RQI certification required
• Stroke and PCU experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to stepdown and surgical stepdown patients requiring progressive cardiac monitoring
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate
• No radius rule for this position
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
