Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Step Down – Zanesville, OH 43701

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, typically every third weekend, one holiday per contract period. Rare call coverage may be required based on census and staffing needs.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel nursing assignment in a cardiac step-down unit specializing in open heart recovery and telemetry
• Work with post-operative open-heart patients, heart catheterization recovery, and cardiac drip management
• Epic EMR system utilized for documentation and patient care coordination
• Minimal floating expected, though flexibility to support other units during low census or coverage needs is required
• Opportunity to work with a diverse cardiac and medical-surgical step-down patient population

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience
• Demonstrated experience with open-heart recovery, heart catheterization recovery, cardiac drips, and post-operative cardiac patients
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system required
• Ability to provide care to ventilated patients in rare circumstances as needed
