We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Independence, MO.

Must Have

: BLS, ACLS

Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills

Experience managing vasoactive drips

Typical Procedures

Central Line or PICC line placement

Chest tube placements

Unit Specifics

: 36

: 1:3 to 1:5 depending on shift and staffing

: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps

Staffing & Scheduling

Typically RN-based care, with patient care techs available as staffing permits. Unit secretaries are scheduled 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.

48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation

Rotating holiday schedule

Floating Policy

PRN staff float once per week. FT/PT staff float based on rotation. Bonus shifts float first.

Pay Details

Gross Pay (weekly): $2807.0

Taxable Pay (weekly): 1274.0

Non-taxable Pay (weekly): 1533.0
