PCU RN – Float Pool
- Hours: 36 or 48 hrs accepted
- Experience: 1–2 years; first-time travelers accepted
- Ratio: 1:5
- Certs: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
- Weekends: 8 shifts per 6-week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun combination)
- Floating: Approx. 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU units and other Metro campuses; no home unit
- Other Duties: Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed
- Required Skills: MS/Tele, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, emergency response, pre/post cardiac cath, sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFib, GIB, stroke, and COVID.
- Preferred Skills: Sheath removal, feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, and central line management.
