Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Unrestricted RN license in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain before the start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; may be obtained upon hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
  • Experience in a rural Critical Access Hospital or progressive care setting preferred
  • Comfort working in a low-oxygen, high-altitude environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit
  • Serve as the primary nurse for assigned patients in the PCU
  • Assess patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members to support positive patient outcomes
  • Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate bedside care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical standards
