**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN in Progressive Care Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Location: Chattanooga, TN** - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Unit Name:** Progressive Care Unit - **Cost Center:** 613 **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: 29 - Patient Ratios: 4:1 - Unit Staffing: - Dayshift: Unit Secretary + 2-3 PCTs (based on census) - Nightshift: 2-3 PCTs (based on census) - Type of Equipment: - Welch Allyn Dynamaps - Phillips Telemetry - Phillips MP2 - Pyxis - Alaris Pumps - Hill-Rom Beds - iMobile Devices - MobiLab - Documentation System: Meditech - Scheduling Requirements: - 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule - Self-scheduling (reasonable adjustments for balanced staffing) - May request days off prior to schedule closing - Schedule finalized 2 weeks in advance - Can accommodate block scheduling for night shifts - Floating Policy: Travel RNs float first, oldest float date goes first - Patient Experience Requirements: - Heavy cardiac patient population; CV surgery patients from ICU - Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and full charting **Hiring Profile:** - **Requested Skill Set:** - Cardiac/Telemetry experience - PCU and/or critical care experience - Advanced Skills: - IV insertion - Chest tube management - DHT insertion/management - Tracheostomy experience - CVC management - EKG and Foley management - Early patient mobility - **Procedures Performed:** - Foley placement - IV insertion - Wound vac management - DKA management - EKGs - DHT/NG placement - Patient ambulation and ADLs - **Certifications Required:** - BLS and ACLS **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Navy scrubs **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Will be provided upon hire **Additional Information:** - Team-oriented atmosphere, where everyone works together to deliver exceptional care. - Strong focus on employee engagement and high patient satisfaction ratings. - Self-scheduling options within reason for balanced staffing. - Experienced staff available on both day and night shifts for support. - Advanced technology enhances the work experience, including iPhones for communication and documentation. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
