Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient PCU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
  • Required to work every other weekend per unit need

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Perform patient assessments and reassessments, developing and adjusting care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education
  • Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
  • Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
  • Follow the Practice Governance and Evidence-Based Practice framework
  • No local rate drop for candidates residing in the area
