**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to elevate your nursing career? Join our vibrant Progressive Care Unit team, where exceptional patient care meets teamwork and innovation! - **Location:** Chattanooga, TN - **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - **Guarantee:** 48-hour guarantee - **Unit Highlights:** - 29 Bed unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 - Supportive staffing: Dayshift unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs - High-tech equipment: Welch Allyn dynamaps, Phillips telemetry, and more! - **Patient Care Excellence:** - Work with diverse cases including sepsis, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and post-operative care. - Perform comprehensive assessments every 6 hours and document thoroughly for optimal patient outcomes. - Manage advanced IV therapies and support patients post cardiac and thoracic surgeries. - **Skill Requirements:** - Cardiac/telemetry experience and background in PCU or critical care - Proficiency in IV insertion, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care - Strong patient mobility and EKG skills - **Certifications Needed:** - BLS and ACLS required - **Our Culture:** - Be part of a “team player” unit with a commitment to teamwork and excellent patient care. - Self-scheduling options available for better work-life balance. - Great technology support to streamline your workflow, including iMobile devices for communication and documentation. - **Opportunities for Growth:** - Travel RNs are valued equally with core staff and have opportunities to renew contracts. - Enjoy a positive atmosphere with high patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
