Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
Job Details
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 3x12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30)
- Night Shift: 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)
- Rotation: Every other weekend required
- Floating: Required within the organization
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.
- Monitoring telemetry patients; must be able to pass the telemetry test.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining patient safety and well-being throughout care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
- 1st time travelers are welcome to apply; however, profiles with only 1 year of experience will require manager review.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system is necessary.

Parking options available include:
- WMC Permit: 24/7 access to the garage - annual or monthly availability.
- WB and CXS Permits: Annual payment required; monthly permits not available.
- Prorated refunds may be available for unused months on annual permits, with specific cancellation instructions.
