Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating sound independent clinical decision-making.
- Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; review and revise plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs.
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while promoting teamwork.
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and comply with regulatory standards within a Practice Governance framework.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
